Not to be underestimated: The Audi RS 5 DTM

In 2004, Mattias Ekström secured his first championship title in the Audi A4 DTM. Spurred on by his great success, the 2007 rider was once again able to celebrate his second title at the top of the podium. His number 5 racing car for the 2017 season will be powered by a 4-litre V8 engine and will be able to show off its performance in corners in particular. The approximately 460 bhp make it a stubborn rival for his competitors on the race track. Ekström finished second in the overall standings in the 2017 season, only 3 points behind René Rast. The first 4 places were all claimed by Audi drivers. After this season Mattias Ekström retired from the DTM and only drove the first race in 2018 as a farewell race.
