With a choice of beginner and expert modes, there is always the right mode for riders of all experience levels.

Carrera HYBRID is available from specialist dealers and various online retailers, as well as on carrera-toys.com.

The Carrera HYBRID vehicles are on a scale of 1:50.

The sets each contain two licensed and true-to-original Porsche 911 GT3 R models in various cool paint finishes. Also included are 4 high-speed straights, 10 nerve-wracking bends and a start/finish straight. These can be set up in different configurations to make every race exciting and unique. In addition, the batteries are permanently installed in the cars and suitable USB charging cables are included so that you can get started right away. The Carrera HYBRID app can be downloaded free of charge from the GoGoogle Playstore and the Apple Store.

There are several sets in which the racing drivers can already find all the parts they need. There is also a selection of interesting individual vehicles and track expansion sets, so-called track packs and other vehicle models.

The vehicles are controlled via an app that can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple App Store and GoGoogle Play Store. Steering works intuitively by tilting the smartphone or using touchscreen joysticks. Buttons on the display represent the accelerator and brake. The design of the app is based on the cockpit of real racing cars to offer a particularly natural driving experience. The vehicles scan the road when driving and know exactly where they are via the app. An AI assists with steering and helps to stay on the road and find the ideal line. This support can be set to different levels, from strong support for beginners to little support for experienced professionals.

The HYBRIDapp also includes vehicle-dependent and situation-dependent engine, braking and shifting noises when driving.

Please send in all RC products complete. In the case of car racing tracks, please only send in the defective parts or technically relevant parts (transformer, hand controller, starting rail, cars, points)

Every model of the same vehicle type has the same factory-set driving characteristics and handling. The different setting options in the app allow these to be customized individually.

The number of participants who can take part in a race session together is technically limited to 16, which is the maximum number of participants in a Wi-Fi network. For free driving on the track, there is theoretically no fixed participant limit, but no more than 30 vehicles are recommended.

Just like in reality, every acceleration, braking and steering has an effect on the condition of the tires. The tires wear out particularly badly if you drive too fast in bends and the AI has to intervene with an emergency stop. This must be avoided.

This is planned for one of the following app updates, but the following "hack" is already possible in principle: Set Ghost Car to driving assistance STRONG, place it on the track and accelerate to the desired speed. Then put the app in the background/minimize it. The racer now continues to drive autonomously on the track. As soon as it leaves the track, e.g. because it has been pushed out, it stops immediately.
