The legendary 6 Hours of Nürburgring
“Green hell", is what Sir Jackie Stewart said when referring to the Nordschleife section of the Nürburgring – one of the most demanding and longest race tracks in the world. In the past as well as today, endurance racing takes place here – events which demand everything from the drivers. The race track attracts not only the best drivers in the world, but also a lot of fans. Between 1953 and 1983, the ADAC (The German Automotive Association) organised an endurance race on the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. It comprised 44 laps totalling 22,810 km. In 1980 at the 26th ADAC 6 Hours of Nürburgring, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Nelson Piquet drove the BMW M1. The striking design of the M1 caused a sensation because it displayed the routing of the Nordschleife. Thus a tribute to the world famous race track was created
It is its special design that distinguishes this model
As with its bigger role model, the unique design of this slot car on a scale of 1:24 is immediately noticeable. On top of the white paint finish, the race track known as "Green Hell" is depicted. The number 201, which accompanied the two drivers in 1980, is also clearly visible. The BMW M1 Procar Slot Car is equipped with headlights, rear or brake lights. You can encode it individually and control it digitally. The faithful workmanship thanks to the BMW licence is sure to impress every Carrera fan.
